Songfacts®:Uncle Kracker is Kid Rock's DJ. Rock produced the track and released the Double Wide album on his Top Dog record label, launching Kracker's solo career. The mellow tune is a far cry from Kracker's days hyping the crowd for rock from behind his turntables. Rock had his own lite-rock hit two years later with his Sheryl Crow duet "Picture."The song is about a man who has an affair with a married woman.
